Acceptable Use Policy

The use of services from Host.BeyondAllKnowledge.com [hereafter referred to as "Beyond All Knowledge Hosting"] constitutes agreement to these terms and our Terms of Service.

Abuse of Servers

Any damaging or abusive activity, whether unlawful or considered to be detrimental to the operations of Beyond All Knowledge Hosting resources, is a violation of this policy. Any attempt to harm equipment owned by Beyond All Knowledge Hosting, or hosted in its facilities, is strictly prohibited. Violations will result in legal action, to the fullest allowable extent.

Abusive Client

Beyond All Knowledge Hosting may, at its discretion, suspend or terminate the service of any client/reseller who is financially delinquent, abusive/harassing to Beyond All Knowledge Hosting personnel, or causes general disruption to the operation of the company and service of its users. Examples of such activity include, but are not limited to:

  • verbal or written abuse of Beyond All Knowledge Hosting personnel (obscene language, threats, etc.)
  • excessive complaints or persistent disregard for alerts, warnings, and/or notices
  • repeated reactivation of abusive users
  • consistent errors or administrative changes causing unnecessary workload
  • spamming Beyond All Knowledge Hosting email addresses, ticket systems, and/or servers
  • frequent late or bounced payments
  • issuing chargebacks
  • public harassment or derogatory/false/exaggerated forum/discussion group postings
  • Unacceptable / Illegal Usage Restrictions

    Examples of unacceptable material on all services provided by Beyond All Knowledge Hosting include, but are not limited to:

  • IRC and associated applications (including bouncers, "bots", etc.)
  • Malware (Malicious Software) and/or Botnets
  • Automation tools, auto typers, macros and bots used to circumvent restrictions on games or other applications (e.g. RuneScape bots)
  • Network and systems abuse scripts
  • Circumvention of and/or provision of instructions to circumvent security measures
  • Port Scanners
  • Threatening, harassing, or obscene content
  • Anonymizers/proxies without password protection and sufficient logging (including open mail proxies, anonymous web surfing proxies)
  • Unsolicited and/or mass advertising via forums, blogs, comment forms, and newsgroups
  • Mail bombing, email address harvesting, and/or unsolicited email (including bulk mail sent to unconfirmed recipients and individual unsolicited advertisement or link exchange requests)
  • Excessive overutilization of resource limits
  • Evasion of bans or blacklistings by changing domains/IPs
  • Links to unacceptable content are also prohibited.

  • Proxy Scripts/Anonymizers
  • Pirated Software/Warez
  • AutoSurf/PTC/PTS/PPC sites
  • IP Scanners
  • Bruteforce Programs/Scripts/Applications
  • Mail Bombers/Spam Scripts
  • Banner-Ad services (commercial banner ad rotation)
  • File Dump/Mirror Scripts (similar to rapidshare)
  • Commercial Audio Streaming (more than one or two streams)
  • Escrow/Bank Debentures
  • High-Yield Interest Programs (HYIP) or Related Sites
  • Investment Sites (FOREX, E-Gold Exchange, Second Life/Linden Exchange, Ponzi, MLM/Pyramid Scheme)
  • Sale of any controlled substance without prior proof of appropriate permit(s)
  • Prime Banks Programs
  • Lottery Sites
  • MUDs/RPGs/PBBGs
  • Hateful/Racist/Harassment oriented sites
  • Hacker focused sites/archives/programs
  • Sites promoting illegal activities
  • Forums and/or websites that distribute or link to warez/pirated/illegal content
  • Bank Debentures/Bank Debenture Trading Programs
  • Fraudulent Sites (Including, but not limited to sites listed at aa419.org & escrow-fraud.com)
  • Mailer Pro
  • Examples of unacceptable material on all Virtual Private Servers include:

  • IRC and associated applications (including bouncers, "bots", etc.)
  • Game Servers
  • Malware (Malicious Software) and/or Botnets

  • Java-based applications
  • Any resource intensive applications that produces a large load on the node to the point that it affects the experience of our other customers
  • Changes to the AUP

    Beyond All Knowledge Hosting reserves the right to revise its policies at any time without notice.
